A Tarkalean male (2153).

The Tarkaleans were a humanoid civilization native to the planet Tarkalea.

History[]

In 2153, a Tarkalean freighter was attacked and boarded by the Borg. The Earth starship Enterprise responded to the distress call and discovered that the freighter's crew had been assimilated by the Borg. They were unable to be saved. (ENT episode: "Regeneration")

Culture[]

The Tarkaleans were well known for their special blend of Tarkalean tea. (DS9 episodes: "Past Prologue", "Trials and Tribble-ations")

The Tarkalean unit of currency was known as the notch-rock. (DS9 novel: Avatar, Book One)

When a Tarkalean went into a battle, they let out a war cry. (VOY short story: "You May Kiss the Bride")
