Tarvok was a male Cardassian officer who served on the Charak.
In 2371, Tarvok saw action during the encounter with the Hive. Just before Gavron ordered an antimatter overload to damage the Hive, Tarvok quoted the Klingon proverb it is a good day to die and joked to Gavron that he would like a battlefield promotion. Tarvok was killed but the Hive ship was successfully destroyed. (DS9 novel: Objective: Bajor)
