Task Force Javelin

Task Force Javelin was a military unit within the Federation Starfleet.

It was created in the year 2376 and consisted of a number of Defiant-class starships which were led by the USS Neptune who were tasked with finding out the source of the Genesis Wave that was plaguing the Alpha Quadrant. After venturing into the Boneyard, all communication was lost with the task force. (ST - The Genesis Wave novel: Book 1)
