Tau Lacertae (τ Lacertae, also known as Agornu system, Garag system, Koreb system, S'sgaron system or Shekkis system) was a trinary star system with an associated star system located in the galaxy's Beta Quadrant. The Gorn homeworld system housed shipyards for the Gorn spacefleet.
In a Starfleet Academy simulator scenario in the 2290s decade, cadets on a simulated Constitution-class starship had to destroy the Garag shipyard. This was also the site of an encounter with Mokjan and unarmed Gorn technicians.
The system's orbit was the site of another Starfleet Academy simulator scenario, the location of a Federation light cruiser commanded by Captain Reynolds of Starfleet Intelligence. All three components appeared to be type K orange star dwarfs. They could appear in the sky above Gornar at the same time. In such an instance, they appeared as large, white-yellow disc, surrounded by yellow coronas that outshone the surrounding green sky. (TOS - The Spectrum War comic: "Issue 2")
The Gorn's homeworld, also known as Tau Lacertae IX, was the ninth planet of the system. (STO novel: The Needs of the Many)
In the Kelvin timeline, the palace of the Gorn hegemon was constructed in such a way that everything inside had only one shadow. The light of a star could shine through a window onto the throne of the hegemon. (TOS - The Spectrum War comic: "Issue 2")
