Taymon was a humanoid man who lived in the Delta Quadrant in the 24th century.
At some point before 2373, he joined a merchant fleet to explore the galaxy. Sometime after, he was infected by a Taresian retrovirus, turning him into a Taresian male. The retrovirus made him "return" to Taresia, and Taymon was a part of the welcome party who greeted an infected Harry Kim. During this time, he married three Taresian women, including Malia, and on their honeymoon she killed Taymon for his genetic material to propagate her species. (VOY episode: "Favorite Son")
