Tazi Station

Tazi Station was a Federation space station, a Sierra class science outpost in Starfleet service in the 24th and 25th centuries. It was located in the unaligned Tazi star system and focused on studying the local geology. (STO - Klingon War mission: "Tazi System Patrol")

History[]

Tazi Station was constructed in 2396 in orbit of Tazi Prime to study the system's asteroid belt. As a scientific outpost, the station included sparse defenses.

The cooperation between the station and the native population prompted the Tazani government to seek membership in the Federation. By 2408, the application was pending.

In the year 2409, Commanders Akira Sulu and Samuel Winters dispatched a Starfleet vessel to patrol the Tazo system against Klingon incursion. Cloaked squadrons hid in the asteroid belt and harassed the station until the Starfleet patrol defeated them. (STO - Klingon War mission: "Tazi System Patrol")
