This template doesn't list helm right now, and I was going to add it (Aili Lavena), but that's going to throw the number of position boxes from twelve to thirteen, a number which just doesn't work out right... the only thing I can think of off the top of my head would be to make the command positions (CO, XO, 2O) fill a third of a row each, and then two more rows of five... --Captain Savar 16:16, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

Damned prime numbers! I think five in a row is a bit tight, I suggest:

chief medical officer S. Ree chief of operations S. Rager chief science officer Jaza N.M. Pazlar
chief of security R. Keru chief tactical officer R. KeruTuvok
flight controller A. Lavena watch officer F. HachesaT. Gibruch

Which is kind of odd, but rows of four has just one odd extra name for the bottom row. --8of5 02:01, 26 June 2009 (UTC)

I've been away for a few days; the table above looks... cramped, for lack of a better term. Plus, ironically, all of the positions with more than one person listed have ended up in the center or right most column, throwing the balance completely off, in my opinion. Yet, I'm not sure what a better solution might look like. I'm still playing around with the table... maybe removing one of the positions?--Captain Savar
Perhaps the Titan crew hasn't grown enough yet to really take advantage of the "multiple template" system -- by comparison, the large crew of the USS da Vinci all fit in one template. -- Captain MKB 15:15, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

How do you feel about CO being on its separate line? I also tried to add a width to balance it out side to side... --Captain Savar 16:10, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

I think the stretched boxes look odder than a few boxes of blank space myself. But also agree with Mike, there just aren’t many names here, I'd be happy to see the Titan templates condensed down - as you note, most of these positions only have one name, we have crew listing pages for this level of detail. --8of5 21:55, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

Template moved down to the bottom; what about two rows of two and then rows of three? It takes a little trickery, but I actually think this looks decent. --Captain Savar 05:08, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

Just looks messy to me I'm afraid. --8of5 05:17, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

My question would be what looks messy, and is there a possibility of cleaning it up? Or are we on a hopeless route? (grin) --Captain Savar 13:14, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

Having all out of alignment, looks like it's been involved in a nasty automotive accident! I can see a case for varying the widths of columns/having areas that span several columns on templates where there is a combination of big and small sections of information (such as {{mirror universe stories}}, but even then the basic column arrangement remains intact), but in this case all the sections have more or less the same amount of information, so it looks really odd stretching a random few out. --8of5 23:02, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
