The Teplan system was a star with an associated star system, located in the Kendari sector of the galaxy's Gamma Quadrant, in or near the boundaries of the space claimed by the Dominion government, and between the Jenkata Nebula and the Kendi system.

History and specifics[]

The Teplan primary was a single star, an a type blue-white star with a brightness of magnitude +3. (ST reference: Star Charts)

This system's orbit contains a planetary system, including first planet Teplan I, the homeworld of the Teplan species. (DS9 episode: "The Quickening"; Decipher RPG module: Through a Glass, Darkly)

In 2376, the crew of the Even Odds discovered folk art from the Teplan system from a time before the Teplans were infected with the blight. (DS9 novel: Rising Son)
