History and specifics[]

Terapsut was an angry, immortal mummy queen figure of terror with superhuman strength. Known for being both terrible and kind, she repelled threats to her subjects violently and could employ a curse. She felt she endured longer than the Pyramids. A sculpture of her face had once been fashioned on the side of a mountain. (TNG - Holo-Ween comic: "Issue 2")

Troi as Terapsut.

In 2370, Counselor Deanna Troi assumed the role of Empress Terapsut in order to confront Redjac in the USS Enterprise-D's holodeck. The character's personality was temporarily grafted onto Troi's mind through a bio-chemical form of hypnosis to prevent her from experiencing fear. Her physical strength was heightened through the use of antigravity technology under her bandages. (TNG - Holo-Ween comics: "Issue 2", "Issue 3", "Issue 4")

Terapsut was the Norwegian language word for therapist.
