Tess Allenby was a female human in Starfleet in the 24th century.
Allenby served as an engineer at the Starfleet Academy Flight Range on Mimas prior to graduation, where she focused on servicing trainer craft used by the academy. (ST video game: Starship Creator)
In 2365, she graduated Starfleet Academy in the 90th percentile. Allenby was an ensign assigned to the USS Enterprise-D, serving as a shuttle pilot and backup conn officer. During her time on the Enterprise, she was part of a small social group which dubbed itself the "corner office". (TNG episodes: "Final Mission", "The Loss")
- The Starship Creator software contradicts this by stating that Allenby was assigned to the Enterprise in 2367 as a flight control officer in the Command division.
Tess Allenby earned a fourth level pilot certificate with highest honors in 2367. (ST video game: Starship Creator)
Allenby formed a strong animosity toward Wesley Crusher, whom she perceived as blocking her own advancement on the ship, given his status as "acting ensign" and his regular assignments to bridge duty. (SCE eBook: Many Splendors)
By 2367, with Crusher's acceptance to Starfleet Academy, Allenby was assigned as alpha shift conn officer. (TNG episodes: "Final Mission", "The Loss")
Not long afterwards, she accepted a transfer to the USS Lexington. (SCE eBook: Many Splendors)
- The Starship Creator software implies that Allenby stayed on the Enterprise through its destruction and went to work aboard the successor Enterprise immediately.
In 2371, she transferred to the USS Enterprise-E. Two years later, she participated in the Battle of Sector 001. (ST video game: Starship Creator)
Allenby's interests included computer science, ice hockey and Vulcan music. (ST video game: Starship Creator)
