"That Which Survives" was the 69th episode of Star Trek: The Original Series, the 14th episode of the show's third and final season, first aired on 24 January 1969. The episode was written by Michael Richards and John Meredyth Lucas, directed by Herb Wallerstein and novelized in Star Trek 9 by James Blish.
