The Boy Who Cried Wolf was one of Aesop's Fables.

Julian Bashir told the fable to Elim Garak in 2371. Bashir pointed out the moral of the story was not to lie, but Garak took the moral to be to never tell the same lie twice. (DS9 episode: "Improbable Cause", ST - The Fall novel: The Crimson Shadow)
