The Caine Mutiny was 20th century Pulitzer Prize-winning literature from the planet Earth written by Herman Wouk. It was first published in March 1951, then adapted as a film in June 1954.

Legacy[]

In 1999, a time traveling Spock and Q shook hands, but the contact inadvertently swapped their personalities and left them on an asteroid hurtling toward Earth. Debating whether either had cause to willingly place themselves in jeopardy, Q started to babble nonsense. Spock retorted, "Don't forget the strawberries, Captain Queeg". Q replied, "That's right, what happened to the strawberries", both acknowledging their familiarity with the work and understanding the scene's pertinence to their current situation.
