The Chrysalis Experiment was a novel written by Lincoln Roberts.

In 2020, The Chrysalis Experiment was included in the USS Lewis & Clark's entertainment storage banks. When James T. Kirk's mind was transported downtime from 2270 to 2020, The Chrysalis Experiment was one of the few novels which he recognized because it became a classic and was still read in the 23rd century. The same was true of Roberts' other novel Assignment: Armageddon. (TOS novel: The Rings of Time)

It is likely "Lincoln Roberts" was a pen name used by Roberta Lincoln to write about her experiences with Gary Seven.
