The Collectors Guild was a far-reaching 24th century civilian organization made up of wealthy collectors throughout the galaxy. (LD episode: "Kayshon, His Eyes Open")

History and specifics[]

Membership required having a collection of high caliber. Members paid a fee in exchange for curator technology and advanced security defense systems. The better the collection, the better the resources spent defending it. Highly regarded items included an agony booth from the Mirror Universe, a Ba'ul pylon from Kaminar, Borg implants, a Ceti eel terrarium, an Echo Papa 607 drone, eisillium from Archer's Comet, a Galactic Army of Light holy book, gold Pixmit cards, a magnetic crystal implant from Turkana IV, a painting of Spot signed by Data, a cracked time crystal from Boreth, and Tommy guns. The Guild had members from almost 200 planets. (Adventures RPG module: Lower Decks Campaign Guide)

When a member passed away, the Guild managed an auction of their collection. The Guild received a share of the proceeds to reinvest into the protection of other collections. The auction process involved thoroughly cataloguing each item and safely removing any explosive weaponry such as photon torpedoes. (LD episode: "Kayshon, His Eyes Open", Adventures RPG module: Lower Decks Campaign Guide)

In 2381, Guild Chairman Siggi requested Starfleet assistance in safely removing explosive devices from the collection of the late Kerner Hauze. An away team from the USS Cerritos arrived to assist. But when Siggi stole Kahless' fornication helmet, defense protocols activated in an attempt to kill everyone aboard Hauze's ship. (LD episode: "Kayshon, His Eyes Open")

Later that year, the Guild manned a booth for recruitment on Tulgana IV which ended up enraging Brad Boimler so much that he trashed it. (LD episode: "Reflections")
