Description[]

Solicitation

Summary[]

Log entries[]

  • Security log, supplemental.
Once again Quark has invited trouble. I just didn't expect THIS much trouble. Mercenaries broke into DS9, first stealing the Borg device we confiscated from Quark, then taking Latinum the corgi. A mysterious animal rescuer informed us that the culprit is a clandestine group of wealthy elites called the Brokers.
Apparently, the Brokers use rare items-like purebred corgis-to sneak access into computer systems for the real prize: data. In our case, the Borg device scraped Starfleet's computers. Captain Sisko has taken the Defiant to stop the Brokers from selling war intel.. and to rescue Quark's-our-dog.
  • Captain's log, supplemental.
The Defiant is on a stealth mission to intercept a group known as the Brokers.
Broker mercenaries infiltrated DS9 to recover a piece of augmented Borg technology-- an interface that connects the minds to data networks.
They used Quark as a means to get the device to DS9. Then scraped the station's computers through it. Who knows who they will try to sell it to?
Many have said that information is the most powerful weapon in war. But for our crew, there' one thing more powerful: the need to save one of our own.
