- Begins after The Glories of the Hebitians, but then has a flashback to Blood Fever. The oldest incident of Borg activity in (Starfleet?) records is an event one-hundred and ten thousand years ago. This was when the Borg conquered the Hirogen.
- At that time, the Hirogen were homeless nomads because their homeworld was overrun by the Borg. The fleeing survivors swore to adopt a lifestyle of predatory hunting, and to never again be victims.
- A flashback to Hunters is shown, before a return to Blood Fever.
