"The Lights of Zetar" was the 73rd episode of Star Trek: The Original Series, the 18th episode of the show's third and final season, first aired on 31 January 1969. The episode was written by Jeremy Tarcher and Shari Lewis, directed by Herb Kenwith and novelized in Star Trek 6 by James Blish.
