The Mirror Universe Saga

The Mirror Universe Saga was a Star Trek: The Original Series comic book omnibus published by DC Comics in 1991.

The book reprinted DC Comics' Star Trek #9-16, an eight-issue story arc called New Frontiers when it was originally released in 1984-1985. The arc was written by Mike W. Barr, penciled by Tom Sutton and inked by Ricardo Villagran. It was recolored by Julianna Ferriter.

A.C. Crispin wrote a four-page introduction about the growth and evolution of Star Trek through TNG, novels, comics and games, illustrated with cover art from the arc. She described proposing a plot idea for a Mirror Universe novel to Pocket Books editor David Stern, only to learn that something similar had already been done in The Mirror Universe Saga.

The saga was subsequently reprinted by IDW in the omnibus Best of Alternate Universes in 2009 and by Eaglemoss in the omnibus Graphic Novel Collection #41 on 19 July 2018.
