The Newspaper Comics, Volume 2 is the second collection of comic strips that were published in Los Angeles Times Syndicate newspapers from October 1981 to December 1983.

Ten complete missions told by Sharman DiVono, Larry Niven, Martin Pasko, Padraic Shigetani, and Gerry Conway; and illustrated by Ron Harris, Padraic Shigetani, Bob Myers, Ernie Colón, Dick Kulpa and Alfredo Alcala.

The action picks up where the first film, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, left off and relates the next five-year mission for the crew of the USS Enterprise.

Thanks to thorough research by a handful of dedicated Star Trek collectors, these rare comic strips have been rescued and restored from yesterday's fading newsprint.
