Star Trek: The Official Guide to The Animated Series is a reference book published in September 2019 that exclusively covers the production of The Animated Series.
Description[]
- Star Trek Lives!
- The cancellation of the original series in 1969 should have been the end of the story for Star Trek, but the Enterprise would not be placed into mothballs so easily. Syndication and fan-run conventions saw Star Trek become more popular and led to Gene Roddenberry and Filmation Studios teaming up to continue the Enterprise's original five-year mission.
- Star Trek: The Animated Series was a critical success and earned the franchise its first Emmy Award. The show featured the voices of the original cast as well as original series writers.
- This is the first official book on The Animated Series and contains:
