"The Prince Trapped in Monster Form" is the name of a traditional children's story in Andorian culture, about a man transformed by a curse into a monster, who can only be changed back by a female heroine.

Amanda Grayson cited this story as an illustration of the similarities between alien cultures, noting that Human culture had a similar story called "Beauty and the Beast", as did the Vulcans, with the title "Sikan and T'Risa". (TOS novel: Vulcan's Forge)
