The Q Gambit is a six-part comic story, part of the ongoing series of Kelvin timeline Star Trek comics released by IDW Publishing in 2014. The six issues were the 35th through the 40th of the IDW series, released from July to December, respectively. The arc was reprinted in April 2015 as the ninth omnibus volume to collect the overall series.

Description

The crew of the new Star Trek film franchise encounters the classic Trek villain Q for the first time in this galaxy-spanning adventure developed in association with screenwriter/producer Roberto Orci! The mischievous Q sends James T. Kirk on a quest that will see the Enterprise joining forces with familiar faces from Star Trek lore, in "The Q Gambit!"
