Background[]
- As DS9's commanding officer, Colonel Kira Nerys wears the gray uniform of a Bajoran Militia line officer in this issue, consistent with the uniform wear seen when the station was previously commanded by General Krim Aldos and Colonel Day Kannu in the year 2370. However, by LDs episode: "Hear All, Trust Nothing" (in 2382), she had resumed wearing the crimson jumpsuit of a staff officer. Presumably, she can wear either uniform because of her dual position as space station commander as well as liaison officer for the Bajoran contingent working with the Starfleet crew.
