The Section 31 Lock Box is a Star Trek Online product update published on the ARC website on May 09, 2019. The article was written by Cryptic Studios systems designer Jon “20thCenturyFaux” Herlache. All images are derived from in-game test server screenshots. This article is an entry in the Star Trek Online series Age of Discovery, specifically the (at the time of publishing) upcoming Rise of Discovery season.

Summary[]

The article introduces and presents the items of the Section 31 lock box and associated products in the Lobi Store. The lock box is slated for release on 14th May. Among the items are two new playable, tier-6 rated starship classes for the Starfleet and KDF factions. These are derived from hitherto unnamed starship classes introduced in Star Trek: Discovery seasons one and two.

These are the Klingon cleave ship, named the "Na'Qjej Intel Battlecruiser [T6]", and the NCIA-93 type "Section 31 Intel Science Destroyer".
