"The Ship" was the 100th episode of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, the 2nd episode of the show's fifth season, first aired during the week of 7 October 1996. The episode was written by Pam Wigginton, Rick Casnon and Hans Beimler and directed by Kim Friedman.

Benjamin Sisko and his crew find a crashed Dominion warship and attempt a salvage operation, although the Dominion are intent on stopping them for a reason unknown to the crew.
