The Times was a prominent news publication on the Federation capital planet Earth in the 24th century.

HistoryEdit

In 2379, its Palais de la Concorde correspondent was a Human male named Edmund Atkinson, who retained that position at least until 2381. Atkinson often liked to view the public sessions of the Federation Council for his Times columns, and was known for participating in the press briefings via holocom from a beach in Mexico. (TNG novel: A Time for War, A Time for Peace, ST novel: A Singular Destiny)

The question of which contemporary Times (if any) is the one to have survived into the 24th century is one author Keith R.A. DeCandido has chosen to keep ambiguous.
