The USS Enterprise NCC-1701 and NCC-1701-A Illustrated Handbook is the second of four hardcover reference works in the Illustrated Handbooks series released under the Hero Collector imprint of Eaglemoss Collections. This in-universe reference provides comprehensive schematics and technology of the USS Enterprise and USS Enterprise-A. In particular, it covers the configurations of the original starship as seen in the prime universe from TOS in 2254 and the 2260s, from DSC in 2257, and from the films in 2270s and 2280s.

Content was edited and revised from material first published in Fact Files magazine. New material was provided by the DSC production staff.

This volume, featuring the USS Enterprise and the USS Enterprise-A, is a detailed, illustrative account of the TV starship from the original 1966-1969 series, and the movie starship from The Motion Picture (1979), The Wrath of Khan (1982), The Search for Spock (1984), The Voyage Home (1986), The Final Frontier (1989), and The Undiscovered Country (1991). Plus, Captain Pike's Enterprise from the hit TV series Star Trek: Discovery.
With isometric illustrations of all the key locations, annotated plan views, detailed technical information, Starfleet equipment, and uniforms and insignia, the chapters follow the starships through time and provide an extraordinary reference guide to these iconic Federation vessels.
