"The Wildman Maneuver" is a VOY comic published in the third issue of IDW Publishing's Waypoint anthology. It was released in January 2017 in honor of Star Trek's 50th anniversary.

Summary[]
Naomi Wildman draws a comic book adventure with colored pencils. In the story, an alien force captures Voyager early in the morning, before Captain Kathryn Janeway has had her coffee, and imprisons most of the crew in the cargo bay. Chakotay assigns Ensign Special-Class Wildman to sneak a pot of coffee out of the mess hall. Naomi awakens Seven of Nine, who was regenerating, and the pair heroically knock out intruders and get the coffee. Janeway instantly revives once she's drunk the coffee, quickly taking command and issuing orders to recover the ship. Within two pages, the ship is secure and the alien vessel departs from the cargo bay.
Naomi brings the completed comic to Neelix. She decides to celebrate by having a cup of coffee. She thinks it has to be tasty since it is Janeway's favorite beverage. She takes a sip, then spits it out, disgusted by the taste.
