The Thelasian Trading Confederacy was an interstellar trading alliance with members from multiple species and worlds, located in the galaxy's Beta Quadrant near Klingon Empire space. This confederacy existed since before the birth of Surak and was considered ancient by the 22nd century. In the 2150s decade, The TTC was on the verge of bankruptcy and collapse. History and territory[]

The Confederacy's territory extended beyond the space known to the Confederacy of Vulcan. Reported holdings included the Barcana sector, and Barcana VI in the Barcana star system.

They were known to, and relations with, the Vulcans, Andorians, Bynars and the Klingon Empire. First contact with the Humans of Earth occurred in 2155, during the Confederacy's conflict with the Antianna.
