Thermium is a material used as an explosive.

History and specifics[]

One variant of thermium is stable and widely used in industry for its insulating properties. In the 2270s, thermium was slabbed from a quarry and excavated by crane by a mining colony on Argus IV. (TOS comic: "It's a Living")

In the year 2375, Ezri Dax thought an explosive rigged by Axael Krinn could have been thermium. (DS9 - Prophecy and Change short story: "Chiaroscuro")
