This world is the origin of a plant lifeform's fragrant fruit called mil'marassa.
Geordi La Forge once spent a shore leave on Theta Mariana IV, and recreated the planet on the holodeck of the Federation starship USS Enterprise-D. He and Dahlia Santorini enjoyed this holoprogram together in the year 2366. (TNG - The Hero Factor comic: "Shadows in the Garden")
