The Thirty Years' War was a conflict fought on Earth in the 17th century.

When James T. Kirk returned to Organia in 2269, he rediscovered the Organian village he had visited on his first visit, but which now appeared to be in ruins due to the effects of the thought-shield. He thought the scene looked like the aftermath of a siege toward the end of the Thirty Years' War. (TOS novel: Spock Must Die!)
