A Tholian destroyer was a classification of destroyer starship operated by the Tholian Assembly.
History and specifics[]
Throughout history, the Tholians have had different types of destroyer vessels of various designs for fleet actions where capital ships required combatant escorts or bombardment platforms. Tholian destroyers were warships with larger size and weapon complements compared to escorts, on par with frigates or capital ships like cruisers, with similar capability to also perform a number of patrol and transport functions.
