Thrall was a term used to refer to a person or being who is held in bondage or slavery.

History and specifics[]

This term was used by the Chiar and also by the Providers of Triskelion. (VOY novel: The Nanotech War; TOS episode & Star Trek 12 novelization: The Gamesters of Triskelion)

On Triskelion, the Providers' thralls were ranked, including a master thrall and training instructors known as drill thralls. (TOS episode & Star Trek 12 novelization: The Gamesters of Triskelion)
