Appendices[edit | edit source]
Background[edit | edit source]
- This story runs alongside the episodes "Behind the Lines", "Favor the Bold", "Sacrifice of Angels" and "You Are Cordially Invited".
- The title comes from Extreme's album III Sides to Every Story. They are one of author Terri Osborne's favorite bands. (Voyages of Imagination)
- Osborne was finishing this story at the same time Keith R. A. DeCandido was finishing The Art of the Impossible. (Voyages of Imagination)
- Jacqueline Bundy of TrekNation called this story "an insightful and poignant story" and "extremely enjoyable. Osborne was ultimately able to make the sight, smells and bustle of life on the station come alive." Tim Lynch of TV Zone magazine cited it as one of his two favorites in the anthology, and said it "focus[ed] on interesting characters" and "successfully fill[ed] in gaps that really flesh out the characters."
