Biography[]
Following the death of Lieutenant Commander Lahra in 2289, he was promoted to chief engineer of the USS Excelsior. (ST novel: Excelsior: Forged in Fire)
He continued to serve in this capacity during Hikaru Sulu's first assignment as the Excelsior's captain. (TOS - The Captain's Table novel: War Dragons)
Early in the year 2290, Martin Lukas would take over the Chief Engineer post not long after the bombing of the Korvat Conference, with Henry resuming the position some months later (during the time of the Anjiri/Nykkus conflict), with Lukas replacing him full-time later in that same year. (TOS comic: "A Wolf in Cheap Clothing, Part I")
