In the mirror universe, Thomas Paris was kept as a sex slave for B'Elanna's mirror counterpart. While she didn't truly love him, she loved the time that they spent together. However, during a confrontation between him, Lewis Zimmerman's mirror counterpart and her, B'Elanna was forced to kill him by throwing a D'k tahg into his face, shortly before she was rendered unconscious by Tuvok's mirror counterpart. When she regained consciousness, she removed the knife from his cranium, but could not bring herself to further scar his dead body. (VOY novel: The Mirror-Scaled Serpent)
