Tomato soup is a type of food, a soup that contains tomatoes created by the Human civilization of the planet Earth.

History and specifics[]

By the 24th century, tomato soup was a recipe available in and around the Federation in the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrant.

2370s decade Starfleet food replicators contained numerous varieties of this dish. In the year 2371, Tom Paris had tomato soup in starship USS Voyager's mess hall, after having frustration while ordering due to the computer listing numerous variations available. Of the 14 options, his plain, hot, tomato soup didn't end up appealing to him. (VOY episode & novelization: Caretaker)
