The Tong Beak Nebula is a nebula located near the Cardassian Union. To the Bajorans, it was known as "The Grave of the Prophets," or alternately, "Grave of the Prophets' Enemies." Unstable isotopes within the nebula reacted explosively with dilithium which rendered long-range scans useless and made warp drive unusable within. (ST - The Red Path comic: "Part 2")

In the early 2360s, the Tong Beak Nebula was on the edge of unclaimed space, although the Cardassians and the Talarians had been known to operate near it at the time. (ST novella: The Slow Knife)

In 2373, General Martok ordered Leskit to plot the IKS Rotarran's course around the Tong Beak Nebula, as there were reports of Dominion ships being active there. The detour was noted to add a day to their journey to the last known coordinates of the IKS B'Moth from Deep Space 9. (DS9 episode: "Soldiers of the Empire")

In 2378, the crew of USS Theseus found the Orb of Creation held in a Nor-class space station in the nebula. (ST - The Red Path comics: "Part 2", "Part 3", "Part 4")
