Tong Vey

Tong Vey was a Klingon city on Qo'noS.

According to the video game Klingon Honor Guard, Tong Vey was located on the moon Praxis.

History and specifics[]

Emperor Sompek sieged Tong Vey and ten thousand warriors later conquered the city. The victorious Sompek soon ordered that all of the inhabitants of Tong Vey be killed. (DS9 episode: "Rules of Engagement")

The IKS Tong Vey, a Klingon Defense Force battlecruiser active in 2270, was named after this city. (TOS novel: Agents of Influence)

In 2378, during the Day of Blood, Tong Vey reported rebellious activity and civil disturbances via subspace transmissions. Kahless II and his Red Path cult had incited riots, murders of government officials, mass suicide, arson, and property destruction in this and other settlements. (ST - Day of Blood comic: "Part 1")

In 2387, Tong Vey was featured in a travel guide about the Klingon Empire. (ST reference: Hidden Universe Travel Guide: The Klingon Empire)

Alternate realities[]
