Tony Isabella (b. 1951) is an American writer of comic books and novels. He wrote three Star Trek comics, coauthored another with Len Wein, and wrote three stories with Bob Ingersoll, including a novel.
He created DC Comics' Black Lighting and co-created Marvel Comics' Misty Knight, characters that have appeared on TV. He is the author of 1000 Comics You Must Read and a long-time contributing editor to Comics Buyer’s Guide. He also contributed to Harlan Ellison's Dream Corridor Quarterly, and his run on Captain America followed that of fellow Star Trek writer John Warner.
