Torrie Aimatsu was a Human woman who lived in the 24th century.

Biography[]

In the 2370s decade, Aimatsu was a cartographer in Starfleet and was assigned to Jadzia Dax's science staff on Deep Space 9. Aimatsu's work often took her to Bajor.

Aimatsu found the Cardassian quarters on Deep Space 9 hard to adjust to and so painted all of the walls, floors and ceilings in her quarters matte black. Aimatsu also added pinlights to resemble the stars and constellations as seen from her home planet, assisted by Dax in doing so. Molly O'Brien, who liked Aimatsu, wanted her quarters to be the same. (DS9 novel: Proud Helios)
