Trader's Tongue was an Orion language used in commerce. Its written form was known as Trader's Script.
Hikaru Sulu was familiar with Trader's Tongue and Trader's Script, which came in good use when he and Pavel Chekov signed aboard the Orion pirate starship RRV Queen Mary in 2269. (TOS novel: Prime Directive)
