Travec chim Var was a male Tellarite who served as an officer in the Federation Starfleet in the 24th century.
Biography

By 2372, Travec attained the rank of lieutenant commander and assigned to the Division of Planetary Operations on Earth.
In that year, following the Dominion bombing of the Antwerp Conference, Admiral James Leyton ordered the formation of multiple teams to inspect various installations throughout the Federation. Travec was assigned to supervise the team consisting of Lieutenant Padraig Daniels, Crewman T'Saiga and himself.
Their team was instrumental in helping the USS Enterprise's crew to uncover the plot on Starbase 375 orchestrated by Captain Ishmael Snowden and Cadet Bael Nomine to support Admiral James Leyton's coup attempt. (TNG - Slings and Arrows eBook: The Oppressor's Wrong)
