Trexelian Expanse

The Trexelian Expanse

The Trexelian Expanse was a region of space that was relatively unexplored in the mid-23rd century. It featured a number of quantum fluctuations, which teleported individuals to the region, even from different time periods in some cases. (ST video game: Trexels)

History[]

At some point before the 2260s decade, the Progenitors controlled much of the Trexelian Expanse. In their wake, the Progenitors left powerful technology behind on several worlds. The aggressive Krill took an interest in these, while the Valkar Clan groups and the Qalari were left to their mutual and internal squabbles.

Following the destruction of the Federation starship USS Valiant shortly before stardate 7###.8 (circa 2270), the USS Trexelprise was assigned to the region, despite still being under construction, to determine the Valiant's fate and to continue its mission of exploration.

The Federation established colonies, and encountered other species, including representatives from the 24th century. Eventually, two further ships from the 24th century joined the exploration and pacification efforts, the USS Trexelprise-D, and the USS Voyager-V. (ST video game: Trexels)

Due to the temporally ambiguous environment of the Trexelian Expanse, various Federation and allied ships from the 23rd and 24th centuries participated in war games to prepare for war against a powerful enemy, or enemies. (ST video game: Trexels mission: "Skirmish")

Astrometrics[]

Starfleet divided the Trexelian Expanse into at least thirteen sectors, with a red giant as their connector. Each sector included a number of star systems, planets and other stellar objects. The Federation established the first Trexelian Starbase in the region. (ST video game: Trexels)
