The Triventure Trade Pact was an early interstellar agreement that simplified commerce between merchants from Earth, Vulcan, and Alpha Centauri.

History and specifics[]

Ratified on reference stardate 0/7104.09, it signified the start of the modern trading era in what would become the Federation. Under terms of the agreement, jointly chartered trading initiatives would be supported by private guidance and financing from all three planets.

Not long after it was formed, the Pact proposed to outlaw trading with Andorian firms. A speech by Vulcan negotiator T'pava swayed members to defeat the proposal, but some restrictions were still put in place. Further talks led to the First Alpha Centauri Conference on reference stardate 0/7604, in which Andor trading interests allied with the Pact and formed its successor, the Quadrilateral Trade Pact.
