The Troon homeworld was an otherwise unnamed fictional planet appearing in literature of the 20th century Earth science fiction series The Adventures of Captain Proton.
Fictional history and specifics[]
The world was located so far from Earth that it would take 70 years to travel there. It was the homeworld of the advanced Troon civilization.
In the year 2000, a blue-colored Interspacial Cross-Galactic Door transported Captain Proton's rocket ship from Epsey Second Prime to a region of space near the Troon homeworld. Almost immediately, a small fleet of Troon ships maneuvered a huge net over Proton's ship and towed it to a spaceport on the world. Beyond the spaceport was an enormous structure containing a painted sky ceiling and grass-covered floor. Suspended above a lake in the middle of the structure was a separate building that housed controls for a Cross-Galactic Door.
