In an alternate timeline, Tucker was a 25th century Human who was a member of Starfleet. In 2408 of that reality, Tucker served as the operations manager of the Federation starship USS Enterprise-F, under the command of Commodore Data.

In 2408, the Enterprise was investigating the disappearance of Admiral William T. Riker, and Data ordered a course set for Forever World. From the conn position, Lamont commented to Tucker that she wasn't sure she wanted to know what was going on. (TNG novel: Imzadi)
