The Tucker Memorial Building is a Federation Starfleet facility located in San Francisco that houses the Earth-based facilities of the Starfleet Corps of Engineers.
Named in honor of 22nd century United Earth Starfleet engineer Charles Tucker III, the Tucker Memorial Building houses numerous laboratories and offices for the SCE and serves as their headquarters. The building is located adjacent to Starfleet Medical Headquarters.
The lobby contains a massive replica of Zefram Cochrane's famous ship, the Phoenix, Earth's first warp-capable vessel. Around the circumference of the lobby are located numerous holoframes depicting famous Starfleet engineers, including Tucker, George William Jefferies, Mahmud al-Khaled, and Montgomery Scott, surrounding a main desk.
The office of the Starfleet Corps of Engineers Command Liason, presently occupied by Captain Scott, is decorated in the style of 23rd-Century Constitution-class starship interiors. (SCE: "The Future Begins")
